\n\n12 percent of more than 750 tech industry leaders in global companies have named Alibaba as the most likely to disrupt their business, as revealed in the KPMG technology innovation findings in March 2018. Facebook was not far behind, being the second most “worrying company” with 11 percent on the ranking, followed by Airbnb at 10 percent, Amazon and Google both with 9 percent.\n\n[caption id=\"attachment_8717\" align=\"aligncenter\" width=\"720\"] $\"Alibaba$ Alibaba was identified to disrupt other businesses by 19 percent of tech leaders in the US[/caption]\n\nAlibaba was identified to disrupt other businesses by 19 percent of tech leaders in the US, while American firms such as Airbnb and Facebook ranked at 12 percent each in views of Chinese respondents.\n\n[caption id=\"attachment_8719\" align=\"aligncenter\" width=\"720\"] $\"Alibaba$ Alibaba tops the list of several companies named by tech industry leaders as companies they worry the most to disrupt their business.[/caption]\n\nWith Alibaba moving into so many aspects of business, from payments to logistics to finance, this is probably not a surprise -- although it is the first time that a Chinese company has been recognized in such a power position by this report.\n\nAmong the Top 15 on the list are other four Chinese companies: Xiaomi, Tecent, DJI and Didi Chuxing.\n\nAnother interesting finding from the survey identifies regulation as the leading restraint on innovation. This however, does not come as a surprise given that many policies are in state of flux.
