At the 2018 Lenovo Tech World on Sept. 27, Yang Yuanqing, chairman and CEO of Lenovo announced that Lenovo will launch the world’s first 5G smartphone “moto Z3”
Motorola officially released the Motorola Z3 flagship smartphone in the afternoon of August 15. With a thickness of 6.75mm, the Z3 is supposedly “the world’s thinnest flagship”. It is also the first 5G module phone in China.
Motorola confirmed on its Weibo account on August 6 that it will host a new product launch in Wuhan in the middle of August, likely to launch the first 5G module in China.
On March 10, industry sources said that Lenovo Group’s Motorola Mobile may lay off half of its Chicago headquarters employees. This clouds the future of its modular smartphone project.
