Chinese internet technology firm NetEase will acquire 100% of shares in Quantic Dream, the developer of the game \"Detroit: Become Human,\" according to an article published Thursday by industry tipster Tom Henderson. The announcement will likely be launched this summer after the two sides have been negotiating for months.

\"Detroit: Become Human\" is an interactive video game centered on the theme of artificial intelligence, and was first released on May 25, 2018. The latest work of Quantic Dream will be \"Star Wars Eclipse,\" which was displayed in 2021 and is expected to be put on sale in the next few years.

In January 2019, NetEase announced that it had acquired some shares of Quantic Dream, but confirmed that the company would operate independently.
