According to Lu Weibing, the general manager of Redmi at the launch event, “Redmi is destined to declare war against all unreasonable premiums.”

From the information released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Redmi Note 7 Pro is very similar with Redmi Note 7 in terms of appearance. Color options include Nebula Red, Neptune Blue, Space Black.

The device features a 6.3-inch waterdrop notch display made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, equipped with a Snapdragon 675 chipset. It has a battery capacity of 4000 mAh and 18W fast charging. As for cameras, it sports a 13MP front facing camera, with dual rear camera set-up and a 48MP main sensor.

It has a 6GB of RAM and a 128GB of storage, which is priced at 1599 yuan ($238). Pres-ales will start from 10 a.m. (Beijing time, GMT+8) on Mar. 19, and official sales will start from 10 a.m. on Mar. 22.

Launched alongside the Pro was the Redmi 7, with three color options of black, red and blue. The phone features a 6.26-inch 720 x 1520 pixels display with a 81.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, and rear dual cameras with a 12MP main sensor. It's powered by Snapdragon 632, with a battery capacity of 4000 mAh and 10W fast charging.

The three storage options are 2GB+16GB, 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB, which are priced at 699 yuan ($104), 799 yuan ($119) and 999 yuan ($149) respectively. Pre-sales start on Mar. 18, and official sales start on Mar. 26.
