Meng Wanzhou, chief financial officer of Huawei, has been named as the new rotating chairwoman of the Chinese tech giant, replacing Guo Ping as one of the three rotating chairpersons of the company.
Huawei announced on Thursday that the company would employ a rotating basis for its position of chairman. Ken Hu will take on the position of rotating and acting chairman of Huawei starting April 1, 2022 until September 30, 2022.
Huawei announced on Thursday that in accordance with its rotating leadership system, Guo Ping will assume the position of rotating and acting chairman of Huawei from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
