The Information has reported that China’s ride hailing giant Didi Chuxing is currently in talks with Japanese investment behemoth SoftBank to raise capital to fund the substantial development of self-driving vehicles.
Didi Chuxing (DiDi) announced a joint venture with SoftBank on July 19 to offer on-demand taxi-hailing services and smart transportation solutions for customers in Japan, the world’s third largest economy.
