Chinese technology firm Tencent announced the launch of the first batch of its 50 billion yuan ($7.74 billion) 'Common Prosperity' plan in a letter sent today to company employees.
In a letter to employees on Monday, Tencent’s CEO Pony Ma announced that the company would invest 50 billion yuan ($7.67 billion) in areas including “basic science, education innovation, rural revitalization,” and more.
Online K-12 education platform Huohua Siwei recently completed a Series E round of financing, raising more than $400 million through three stages - the E1, E2 and E3, respectively - of fundraising.
