On Dec. 3, Qingsong Health (“easy fundraising” in Chinese), a leading crowdfunding website in China, held its Fourth Funding Charity Ceremony with ELLE and Charity Times in Beijing.

This annual charity ceremony is known as the “Oscars” in the public welfare industry, attracting billions of views online. As a milestone event every year, Qingsong Health aims to build a charity platform for all walks of life with the help of media, celebrities, socially-responsible enterprises, and non-profit organizations, promoting the development of the Chinese welfare industry.

Yang Yin, the founder and CEO of Qingsong Health, said in her opening speech that “kindness and compassion” were the original values that led her to establish this platform. Yang believes Qingsong Health will continue to practice this loving philosophy and help more people in need.

This year’s theme “123Yi (“charity” in Chinese), Let’s Work for Public Welfare Together” corresponds with Qingsong Health’s extraordinary brand strength and leadership under the threat of the pandemic. The platform allows users to share their fundraising projects to the public on social media apps like WeChat and Weibo to maximize exposure.

Supported by Tencent Charity, Alibaba Charity, Baidu Charity, JD Charity, Bank of China Charity, and Guangyi Mulian, Qingsong Health and these seven popular welfare platforms in China brought together hundreds of national public welfare social organizations, including UN Women, China Charity Federation, China Red Cross Foundation, National Health Commission, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League which all attended the ceremony to witness the progress made in 2020.

Qingsong Health is looking for more changes in the future, proposing plans to cover severe illness treatment, child care, volunteer programs, and poverty alleviation.
