China kept its 14th place in the top-performing economies in the Global Innovation Index (GII) 2020, after breaking into the GII top 15 last year, a World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) report showed.
The Chinese telecoms giant Huawei topped the list of 2018 international patent applicants with a record number of 5,405 published PCT applications, according to data from World Intellectual Property Organization.
