Tesla Cybertruck China Tour Expands to Include More Cities
Tesla has announced that it is expanding its Cybertruck China Tour to include additional cities. The tour, which began on January 28, will now include stops in Xiamen, Suzhou, and Harbin.
The China tour is an opportunity for Tesla to generate interest in the Cybertruck in the world’s largest electric vehicle market. However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that it will be difficult to make the Cybertruck legal for sale in China.
Specifications
The Cybertruck is available in three different configurations:
- Single-motor rear-wheel drive: $60,990, 250-mile range, 0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds, top speed of 112 mph
- Dual-motor all-wheel drive: $79,990, 300-mile range, 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, top speed of 120 mph
- Tri-motor all-wheel drive: $99,990, 500-mile range, 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, top speed of 130 mph
It is scheduled to begin production in 2023.
