Vertaxi showcased its upgraded M1 passenger eVTOL at the China International Import Expo and secured 200 new global orders, marking a major step forward in low-altitude mobility innovation.
From November 5 to 10, Vertaxi, a member of the Taisen Group, showcased its upgraded M1 passenger eVTOL aircraft at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. The company also built a “low-altitude mobility takeoff and landing zone” in the Auto Hall, becoming one of the event’s most popular attractions.
During the expo, Vertaxi signed several key cooperation agreements:
- International Market: Saudi low-altitude mobility service provider Aerial Solutions placed an additional order for 100 M1B cargo eVTOL aircraft to support logistics and offshore energy transport in the Middle East. Aerial Solutions is a subsidiary of ACES, which is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). Both sides plan to deepen collaboration on the commercialization of large-scale eVTOL operations.
- Domestic Market: BOC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., together with the Bank of China Shanghai Branch, signed a strategic cooperation framework with Vertaxi and expressed intent to purchase 100 M1 passenger eVTOL aircraft. The partnership aims to advance China’s low-altitude economy and accelerate the global rollout of eVTOL technologies.
- Technology Partnerships: Vertaxi also announced strategic collaborations with Aerospace Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). The partners will jointly develop hydrogen-powered eVTOL solutions and intelligent networking technologies to promote the industrialization of low-altitude mobility.
To date, Vertaxi has received a total of 200 new global orders, further strengthening its leadership in the emerging fields of urban air mobility and embodied intelligent flight. source:skyviewcapital
