After releasing the NEX 3 series last September, Vivo debuted its newest NEX 3S on March 10. The flagship is equipped with the new Snapdragon 865. It also comes with LPDDR5 memory and UFS3.1 flash memory, offering 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage options.
The biggest feature of the Vivo NEX 3X is its waterfall display. With a Super AMOLED display, the screen measures 167.4 mm x 76.1 mm x 9.4 mm and weighs 217.3 grams. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2256 pixels and 363 ppi pixel density. While the resolution and pixel density are not particularly high among other Android flagships, the phone has a radical 90-degree curved screen on both edges, providing users with a borderless experience.
While the key features remain unchanged compared to the NEX 3, the NEX 3S comes with a set of key configuration updates, including multi-function NFC, WiFi 6 and dual-mode 5G acceleration technology.
The Vivo NEX 3S will start at $714, the same as the NEX 3. The phone is available in three colors: black, blue and red. The phone will be available for purchase in China on March 14.
