Vivo Makes Grand Expansion Into Six European Countries
Global smartphone manufacturer Vivo is extending its fanbase to European markets with its entry into six European countries – France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom. Vivo also announced Tuesday its partnership with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for the next two championships.
With the grand entry, Vivo is bringing its premium flagship X51 5G into the European market. The headline features of the smartphone include a gimbal-mounted main camera that claims an innovative image stabilization system and steady capture of images and videos.
A mid-tier lineup, the Vivo Y series – the Y70, Y20s and Y11s – is also highlighted as a key range for Vivo in Europe, the company said, as 62.5% of all smartphones sold in Europe are in the 300-euros-and-under price band. The Y series boasts strong battery performance and caters mainly to a younger audience and those on a budget.
Vivo has also introduced two series of wireless headphones, Vivo Wireless Sport and Vivo True Wireless Earphones (TWS), both compatible with the Vivo X51 5G and equipped with Google Assistant.
Vivo also announced its partnership with UEFA for the upcoming 2020 and 2024 UEFA European Football Championship as the UEFA EURO 2020 Global Smartphone.
The Vivo smartphone brand was established in 2011 and Vivo has branched out its sales network across more than 30 countries and regions as of 2019 with more than 370 million users worldwide.
