Vivo S15 Smartphone Series to Be Released May 19
Chinese smartphone brand vivo announced on Friday that it will release the new vivo S15 and TWS Air wireless headphones at 19:00 on May 19.
Vivo’s TWS Air Bluetooth headphones focuses on a “light and pleasant to hear” experience, and the firm claims it is “the first choice for young people, as it could bring comfortable melody experience.”
Promotional material suggests the vivo S15 series features a customized and exclusive Sony outsole, as well as hummingbird super anti-shake, studio-level portrait algorithm, and night scene light spot filter blessing. It supports real-time black night vision, and is equipped with a flagship chip, a high-frame screen and 80W dual-core flash charge.
The vivo S15 follows the any-way-up design, and the Origin OS system. Jia Jingdong, Vice President of vivo branding, released three portraits shot by the vivo S15 series smartphones.
Two new vivo S15 smartphones have obtained network access certification from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. A tipster said that the vivo S15 “V2199A” adopts a Snapdragon 870 processor, a 6.62-inch OLED screen, rated 4580mAh battery, and supports 80W fast charging. It is 8.54 mm thick.

Meanwhile, the vivo S15 Pro “V2203A” is equipped with a MediaTek 8100 processor, a 6.62-inch OLED screen, a rear 50MP IMX766v OIS main camera, and a rated 4400mAh battery. It supports 80W fast charging, and is 7.99 mm thick.
A Weibo blogger with username “Digital Chat Station” said that the new vivo S15 adopts a centered single-hole straight screen and a right-angle middle frame. Its design is close to the previous Origin Ocean demonstration smartphone (with centered perforation and a right-angle frame). Compared with previous products, the vivo S15 has upgraded the chip and imaging system, and is equipped with a linear motor, infrared and NFC.
