Vivo T2 Budget Smartphone Expected to Be Released Soon
Chinese smartphone brand vivo previously launched the T1 series in India, including the vivo T1 5G, the vivo T1 Pro and the vivo T1 44W. The series was launched in China last year, with slightly different specifications and appearances from the Indian versions.
Indian media outlet 91Mobiles found the vivo T2 on the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) database on Monday, which indicates that the T2 series may be officially unveiled in the near future. It is expected that the smartphone will be launched in China first. As an upgraded series, the vivo T2 is likely to support 5G, and its configuration and functions should be improved.
The smartphone brand released the vivo T1 model on October 20, 2021. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset and comes in two colorways – green and black – starting from 1,799 yuan ($268).
