Vivo’s Foldable Smartphone X Fold Unveiled, Equipped with Under-screen Fingerprint Sensor
Chinese smartphone brand vivo launched on Monday several new devices bringing it up to speed with others in its industry. Among the new offerings include the company’s first foldable smartphone named X Fold, a new flagship device X Note, and a new notebook. The X Fold had been made the official device for the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA). Vivo claimed that the model is the result of four years of research and development.

vivo Pad
The smartphone maker also released a notebook named vivo Pad which uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip, an 11-inch display panel with a 2560*1600 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The notebook measures 6.55mm thick and weighs only 489g. Like smartphones, the notebook adapts the Origin operating system for HD while also offering a selection of more than 4000 apps. The notebook is priced from 2,499 yuan to 2,999 yuan ($392 – $471).
