WeShine Raises $47.5M in Series B1 and B2 Financing
WeShine, a management product associated with Tencent‘s business communitations platform WeCom, announced that it has raised 300 million yuan ($47.5 million) in Series B1 and B2 financing rounds led by IDG and followed by ZWC Partners and other institutions.
With a deep understanding of Tencent‘s ecosystem, WeShine positions itself as a manager of WeCom and has built a product foundation and service system in the early stages based on the openness of the platform.
Its product system featuring software as a service (SaaS) and interaction functions has been achieved gradually with a “customer acquisition – conversion marketing – operations management” model, enabling enterprises to realize user-centered growth driven by data.
Last year, WeShine released WeCom Manager V4.0, a product driven by its collaboration with enterprise customers, who joined the company to gain experience and learn new methods. During this process, WeShine has built a set of customer value growth models, based on which it focuses on user experience and intelligent services, leading to product development. This has resulted in a multi-fold increase in activity level.
Many leading enterprises have chosen WeCom to provide users with efficient services, including Fosun Group, China Southern Airlines and Spring Airlines.
In addition, a larger customer base enables it to form a solid barrier called “technology + service + content,” which facilitates the implementation of digital and intelligent transformations.

With the aim of achieving more growth through WeCom, we are committed to providing customers with one-stop services such as SaaS, consulting, training, technological development and hardware based on WeCom. Meanwhile, we will continue to improve our products and services after the financing.”
Speaking of the investment, Yao Anmin, partner of ZWC, said, “WeShine is a leading player in the ecosystem of WeCom and has shaped an excellent product and service system based on many customer practices. We expect WeShine to continue to stay ahead and support the growth of WeCom so as to serve as the driving force to better promote the operation of digital intelligence customers across industries.”
