World’s First HarmonyOS-Powered Gasoline Car: Dongfeng Nissan Teana Surpasses 10,000 Orders in Its First Month

Dongfeng Nissan’s latest Teana has made a strong market debut, becoming the world’s first gasoline sedan powered by Huawei’s HarmonyOS cockpit.

December 21, 2025 — Dongfeng Nissan announced that the Teana HarmonyOS Cockpit Edition has exceeded 10,432 cumulative orders within just one month of launch.

The model officially debuted on November 21 at the Guangzhou Auto Show, with a limited-time starting price of $18,460. It is the world’s first internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle to feature a HarmonyOS-based smart cockpit, with HarmonyOS Cockpit 5 standard across the entire lineup.

The sedan measures 4,920 × 1,850 × 1,447 mm with a 2,825 mm wheelbase, and comes equipped with newly designed 19-inch multi-spoke metallic alloy wheels. Interior highlights include the HarmonyOS Cockpit 5 system, a crystal-style gear selector, imported wood-grain trim, 50W air-cooled wireless fast charging, 256-color intelligent ambient lighting, and the retention of essential physical controls for ease of use.

At the center of the cabin is a 15.6-inch HUAWEI smart in-car display, running HarmonySpace 5 on the MoLA architecture, offering 48 native HarmonyOS cockpit applications. The vehicle also features a HUAWEI SOUND premium audio system, shared with luxury models, comprising 17 high-fidelity speakers.

Powering the Teana HarmonyOS Cockpit Edition is a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine delivering 243 horsepower (179 kW) and 371 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission.
