
XPeng G7 Super Extended-Range SUV Launches With World-Leading 1,704 km Combined Range

XPeng Motors launched the G7 Super Extended-Range SUV, claiming a world-leading combined range of 1,704 km. The model features a 55.8 kWh battery and a 60L fuel tank, compatible with 92-octane gasoline.
XPeng Motors Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng announced on December 30, 2025 the official launch of the XPeng G7 Super Extended-Range SUV, the first SUV under the company’s Kunpeng Super Extended-Range lineup.
Equipped with a 55.8 kWh battery and a 60-liter fuel tank (compatible with 92-octane gasoline), the G7 achieves a combined driving range of 1,704 km, claimed to be the longest globally.
According to filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the extended-range version features a 218 kW drive motor and a pure electric range of 325 km. The exterior retains the EV G7’s “Robot Face” design, with added air intakes beside the front headlights. Dimensions measure 4918 × 1925 × 1655 mm, with a 2,890 mm wheelbase, and the vehicle is 26 mm longer than the fully electric version.
Three “X”-style wheel designs and blacked-out brake calipers are available. For reference, the fully electric XPeng G7 is currently priced between RMB 195,800 and RMB 225,800 (approx. US$27,971 – US$32,257).
