Xiaomi-backed BlackShark Gaming Phone Released at $478

On April 13th afternoon, the Xiaomi-backed Black Shark Technology company officially released its first flagship high-end gaming phone named BlackShark in China.

The BlackShark gaming phone has a 5.99-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. On the front is a home button with fingerprint unlock, and on the back are rear dual cameras and a set of S-shaped LED lights.

The phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 845 which is a flagship 64-bit CPU, an Adreno 630 GPU, 10 nm LPP processor, and an exclusive user interfaced called Joy UI. For battery life, BlackShark has a 4000mAh battery, and supports quick charge 3.0.

BlackShark looks different from all the other mobile phones in appearance. The front body adopts a 2.5D borderless suspension glass for the bezel-less 5.99-inch screen and on the back is an X design for better hand grip. There are also other bedazzling designs all around the sides of BlackShark.

The 6GB of RAM plus 64GB of memory version is priced at 2999 yuan ($478), and the 8GB of RAM plus 128GB memory is priced at 3499 yuan ($558). Pre-order starts on April 13th, and it will be sold online starting April 20th.
