Xiaomi Civi 1S Smartphone Features Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus Chipset
Chinese consumer electronics giant Xiaomi previously announced that it will release a new smartphone, the Civi 1S, on Thursday. Ahead of the launch, the company indicated on Wednesday that the device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, claiming that “five major accelerated technologies will improve the operation of the model by 27%.”
The Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset adopts TSMC’s 6nm process. It has 4×2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and 4×1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A55. The performance of the chipset is reportedly 40% higher than the 768G version. There is also an Adreno 642L GPU, which improves graphics performance by 20%.
In terms of software, Xiaomi started its “MIUI Smart Cleaning Master,” claiming that the reading and writing performance attenuation after 36 months was less than 1%. It passed the anti-aging certification in 36 months of China Telecommunication Technology Labs.
In addition, the Xiaomi Civi 1S has added 4D light-tracing beauty technology, which adopts high-precision face modeling and gaming-grade real-time rendering to create six kinds of three-dimensional makeup.
