In addition to reviewing 2025 and outlining plans for 2026, the livestream will feature a standout segment in which engineers will perform a live car teardown. Inspired by online teardown videos, Lei described the event as a “hardcore way to ring in the New Year.”
While the specific vehicle was not confirmed, Lei referenced netizens’ suggestions to dismantle the YU7 model. The event continues Lei Jun’s personal tradition—he hosted a similar year-end fireside livestream on December 31 last year.
