To staff the new compound, Xiaomi will employ new engineers and will lead the development of artificial intelligence, IoT, big data and cloud technology. In addition, its head office will provide information support, retail, e-commerce and even part of Xiaomi‘s financial activities.
The new headquarters of the Chinese tech giant is the result of the enormous growth the brand has seen in recent years, which in turn requires an increase in headcount. In order to accommodate the growing number of employees, the company has chosen to relocate.
