Xiaomi Mi 11 Revealed, Rumored Release on Dec. 29
According to previous tips, the Xiaomi Mi 11 series flagship is likely to be officially released at the end of December and will go on sale in early January. As the release date approaches, more and more information about the appearance and configuration of the device is surfacing.
Following official renderings from Xiaomi, some bloggers have further posted photos of the alleged real phone.
The latest information released by bloggers is basically the same as the previous rumors. The new Mi 11 series will include at least two setups, the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. Photos released this time should be the Mi 11, with the mock ups based on the renderings. The phone has a gradient blue color, and seems to have a matte texture. The rear camera module contains three cameras in a square layout. The largest lens is suspected to be the main camera with 100 million pixels.
Photos of the higher-end Mi 11 Pro have not been revealed. But according to previous reports, the Mi 11 Pro will have a four-camera square module, and will adopt a horizontal layout for the first time, which distinguishes it from common camera layouts.
The new Xiaomi Mi 11 series will continue to feature a full-screen with a hole-punch display for the front camera. In addition, the Mi 11 Pro will have a 2K quad-curved hole-punch screen. Both the Mi 11 and Mi 11 pro will feature a 120Hz refresh rate.
The series will become the first in the Mi flagships to support 2K AMOLED screens and a native 10 bit color depth display. The series’ screens are likely to be sent to DisplayMate for testing, and are expected to obtain an A+ level certification.

In addition, one of the highlights of the Mi 11 lineup is that it will be the world premiere of the brand new Snapdragon 888 processor that was launched in early December. The Snapdragon 888 processor is manufactured with the latest Samsung 5nm technique, and integrated Snapdragon X60 5G baseband, which is also Qualcomm’s first integrated flagship mobile platform with its own baseband that fully supports 5G.
In addition, the Xiaomi Mi 11 will support 55W fast charging, while the Mi 11 Pro will support 100W super-fast charging.
Rumor has it that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be released on Tuesday, Dec. 29, which is in line with Xiaomi’s tradition of launching new products on Tuesdays.
