The first Xiaomi physical store in Chile has opened in Santiago on April 27. The 250-square-meter place offers smartphones, wearable devices, smart home supplies and other Xiaomi products.
The passenger traffic of the opening day exceeded 1,500 according to Xinhua.
After this debut, Xiaomi is planning to put intelligence appliances on the local market.
The newly open store in the foreign country is part of the company’s global expansion plan. It entered Chile in December 2018 and plans to open six physical stores with up-to-date smartphones and intelligent hardwares in 2019.
As for now, Xiaomi has opened branches in several Latin American countries, including Mexico, Columbia, Uruguay.
