Xiaomi Rolls Out Mi 11, Packing Premium Screen and Snapdragon 888
Xiaomi has finally unveiled the Xiaomi Mi 11, its much anticipated latest flagship, on Monday evening Beijing time. The series will become the first-ever phones in the market to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The Mi 11 packs what Xiaomi claims to be the best and most expensive screen in its flagship and possibly in the smartphone market. The four-sided curved AMOLED screen features 2K ultra-high resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, sports the latest E4 material, peak brightness at 1500nit, and an anti-inadvertent touch sensor that prevents accidental touch on the curved screen. The Mi 11 screen also uses gorilla glass, with two times stronger scratch resistance.

The phone is only 8.06mm, thin and light, accommodating a 4600mAh battery that can be refilled 100% with 55W super-fast charging.
The Mi 11 sports a trio camera setup on the back, the main camera is joined by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle and 5MP telephoto macro lens. The main camera is 108MP, with OIS optical image stabilization,
In addition, the Mi 11 speakers have passed the Harman Kardon certification, promising a significant upgrade in sound performance.
The MIUI 12.5 closed beta, Xiaomi’s latest OS, is now available for 21 models through the early access registration process. Chinese users can participate by registering on MIUI’s official WeChat account.
The 8GB+128GB will be 3,999 yuan, the 8GB+256GB 4,299 yuan and 12GB+256GB 4,699 yuan.
In addition to the normal version that includes a charger and a charging cord, Xiaomi will launch a lighter version without the in-box charger and charging cord to promote environmental protection. The two boxes will be the same price, allowing users to choose according to their needs.
