Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Officially Launched, Priced at 529,900 yuan
On the evening of February 27, Xiaomi held its highly anticipated new product launch event in Beijing, unveiling the SU7 Ultra, its latest high-performance electric vehicle. The SU7 Ultra is priced at an official guide price of 529,900 yuan. During the event, Lei Jun, Xiaomi‘s CEO, announced that the mass-produced version of the SU7 Ultra will take on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, one of the world’s most challenging racetracks. Following the challenge, Xiaomi will release a limited Nürburgring Edition of the SU7 Ultra, priced at 814,900 yuan.
The SU7 Ultra, positioned as a high-performance model, is equipped with a triple-motor all-wheel-drive system, featuring dual V8s and a V6 motor, delivering a staggering 1,548 horsepower. Previously, Xiaomi revealed that the SU7 Ultra prototype set a lap time of 6 minutes and 46.874 seconds at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, making it the fastest four-door production car on the iconic track. Xiaomi plans to continue its pursuit of excellence at the Nürburgring in 2025.
The SU7 Ultra stands out with its high-saturation yellow paintwork complemented by dark racing stripes, offering a striking and highly recognizable design. The car’s details feature blacked-out elements, while the overall aerodynamic design follows the prototype’s blueprint. The front bumper includes a sporty splitter with a dual “U” design, and the roof is constructed from carbon fiber, integrated with a LiDAR system. Xiaomi claims that the car incorporates 17 carbon fiber components, contributing to an aerodynamic setup that generates up to 285 kg of downforce.
For braking, the SU7 Ultra is fitted with carbon-ceramic discs and Akebono calipers (six-piston front and four-piston rear), capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 1,300 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the vehicle offers an optional Bilstein EVO T1 coilover suspension, which balances street and track performance, featuring a 10-stage adjustable knob for customization based on driving conditions and preferences.
In terms of intelligent driving systems, the SU7 Ultra is equipped with Xiaomi‘s HAD end-to-end full-scenario autonomous driving technology and the Xiaomi Hyper Smart Cockpit. Lei Jun highlighted that Xiaomi‘s autonomous driving system boasts a computational power of 10.68 EFLOPS, with over 10 million high-quality scenario clips accumulated for training.

The event also saw a dramatic moment when the price was released. Initially, the SU7 Ultra was pre-sold at 814,900 yuan, with 3,680 orders placed within the first 10 minutes. However, Lei Jun revealed that after months of internal discussions, Xiaomi decided to set the final price at 529,900 yuan, while the Nürburgring Edition will retain the pre-sale price of 814,900 yuan.
Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi‘s stock price surged by over 4% during trading in Hong Kong, reaching a new historical market capitalization high before slightly retreating. Since the beginning of 2025, Xiaomi‘s market value has been on a steady rise, currently standing at 1.4 trillion Hong Kong dollars.
