Xiaomi to Launch Its First 4K Professional Product
The official account of Xiaomi Notebook announced on its Weibo channel, the Chinese version of Twitter, that the company will release its first 4K professional product. The announcement claimed that the new product will be made for creative production and demonstrate the company’s strong imaging capabilities. The product is scheduled to be released on December 4.
Users commenting on the post guessed that the product is a 4K monitor. Xiaomi currently has a variety of display products on its website, including a 34-inch ultra wide screen display and a 24.5-inch LCD display. A 4K display is consistent with other creative professional offerings. Besides high resolution, the new product may also have a primary color screen, wide color gamut, high color accuracy and other features.
However, since the post is from Xiaomi‘s notebook subsidiary’s account, the new product may also be a 4K screen notebook product or a top-level gaming laptop equipped with an RTX 30 series graphics cards optimized for 4K. It doesn’t even rule out 4K VR glasses that would fit the concept of Metaverse.
In addition, on November 4, Xiaomi released its Laser Cinema 2 4K, which was officially said to be the world’s first projector supporting Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos with 4K resolution.

Further, the device peaks at 2,400 ANSI Lumens with a 3,000:1 contrast ratio. The projector is able to cover 113% of the Rec.709 colour space.
Earlier this year Xiaomi had also launched an enhanced edition of its Notebook Pro 15 with a 15.60-inch display that has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
