Xiaomi officially announced that their new flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 10, will be presented during an online broadcast on February 13. This will mark the first time a smartphone is released by way of a “pure online live broadcast”. Xiaomi officially stated that apart from the first pure online release of their flagship, the company also plans to make an important announcement during the event.
According to the previously published poster, the Mi 10 packs a Snapdragon 865 processor, a 100MP 8K movie camera, a 50x zoom and balanced stereo speakers. The handset is equipped with four rear cameras, a punch-hole frontal camera, and a hyperboloid screen.
Lei Jun, co-founder and chairman of Xiaomi, stated earlier that Xiaomi 10 would be priced on the higher end, with a special focus on the quality of the product. The gadget is expected to be priced in the ballpark of 3,500 yuan ($500).
