Xiaomi’s Lightest and Slimmest 5G Smartphone Mi 11 Lite 5G NE Officially Released, Starting at $315
Xiaomi released information on its Mi 11 Lite 5G NE on Thursday morning, which will be officially launched at 10 a.m. on December 10. The version with 8GB + 128GB costs 1,999 yuan ($315.14), and the version with 8GB + 256GB costs 2,299 yuan ($362.43).
Firm representatives said that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE is a smartphone designed for young people. It is Xiaomi‘s lightest and slimmest 5G smartphone ever.
In terms of design, the new smartphone adopts a stacked structure, weighing 159g and measuring 6.81 mm thick. The screen is 50% thinner than the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite and it is made of AG (anti-glare) frosted glass. Currently, it is available in four colors: truffle black, snowflake white, peach pink and bubblegum blue.
In terms of configurations, it adopts Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor (Kryo 670 architecture, 6nm EUV process), a built-in 4250mAh battery compatible with QC4 + fast charging protocol, and is equipped with an MIUI 12.5 operating system based on Android 11.

In terms of the screen, it adopts a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen which is flexible and straight. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and DCI-P3 color gamut. It has 2400 × 1080 (FHD+) resolution, and has passed HDR 10 + certification.
In terms of the camera, it has a 20 MP (megapixel) front camera and a combination of three rear cameras, including a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 5MP telemacro camera.
