Xiaomi’s Upcoming Smartwatch to Support Snapdragon Wear 3100
Excitement about Chinese smart devices maker Xiaomi is rising as the day of its first smartwatch launch draws closer and additional photos and specs are leaked online.
Li Xiaoshuang, General Manager of Xiaomi TV, posted on Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo a picture of the upcoming Xiaomi Smartwatch to be launched on November 5, along with the company’s recently announced Xiaomi CC 9 Pro flagship.
The picture posted by Li showed a black watch face and black straps wrapped around his wrist. The wearable device featured a squarish design with rounded edges that’s very similar to the popular Apple Watch.
Although no additional details were disclosed along with the post, Xiaomi’s first smartwatch is rumored to run on its own smartwatch-based variant of the MIUI and feature an independent app store for downloading compatible apps.
