XPeng Launched 111 Supercharging Stations in November

Chinese EV maker XPeng Motors said on Monday that 111 supercharging stations had been launched in November, putting its total number to 661. Covering 228 cities at present, XPeng said it plans to build supercharging stations in 337 cities in China in the future.

XPeng‘s supercharging stations are equipped with 480kW high-voltage charging piles which can quickly charge vehicles and allow them to get back on the road. In addition, XPeng Motors is the first EV manufacturer in the industry to build charging stations between the Beijing to Shanghai and Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao high-speed railway.

According to the company’s current policy, XPeng offers a lifetime free charging service for consumers buying XPeng‘s vehicle for the first time, with charging limit of 1,000 kWh per year, while P5 booking users continue to maintain the original scheme of 3,000 kWh free charging limit every year.

Since its establishment more than six years ago, XPeng Motors has completed its global layout. Its R&D headquarters is located in Guangzhou, but the company has R&D centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Silicon Valley and San Diego. The EV maker also set up self-built production bases in Zhaoqing, Guangzhou and Wuhan. At the Guangzhou Auto Show held this year, the company officially unveiled the G9 which will be delivered in the third quarter of 2022.
