XPeng Motors Announces Global Expansion Plan for 2025
On Monday, XPeng Motors announced its global expansion plan for 2025, which will extend to 60 countries and regions and establish over 300 overseas after-sales service outlets.
Simultaneously, XPeng‘s overseas ultra-fast charging network will first land in Southeast Asia, marking the beginning of its global energy system layout.
On February 22, the first batch of 300 XPeng X9 vehicles were shipped from the Nansha Port terminal in Guangzhou, marking the 255th overseas shipment since the XPeng G3 was shipped to Europe in 2020.
To date, XPeng Motors has reached over 30 countries and regions worldwide.
In December last year, the XPeng X9 was launched in Thailand, with a starting price of about 602,000 yuan ($94,500 approx.). The domestic version starts at 359,800 yuan ($56,500 approx.).
The XPeng X9 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8295 automotive chipset and the XOS Tianji intelligent cockpit system.
It adopts a 2-2-3 seat layout and offers luxury features such as a pillow speaker, seat massage, multi-directional electric adjustment, 23-speaker Xopera sound system, and supports six-zone intelligent voice recognition and five-zone automatic air conditioning.
In terms of specifications, the XPeng X9 measures 5293mm in length, 1988mm in width, and 1785mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3160mm. The Thai version uses a front-mounted single motor with a maximum power of 235 kilowatts, peak torque of 450 Newton-meters, a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.7 seconds, and is equipped with an 84.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The NEDC range reaches 680 kilometers.
