XPeng Reveals Expected Starting Price for P5 Model in Europe
Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng Motors on Thursday revealed more specifications for its premium, fully electric P5 model, in addition to its expected starting prices in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
The XPeng P5 is expected to start from 390,000 DKK (52,416 EUR) in Denmark, 48,000 EUR in the Netherlands, 380,000 NOK (39,404 EUR) in Norway, and 550,000 SEK (53,356 EUR) in Sweden.
XPeng officially opened a direct experience store in Denmark on April 9 – its third in Europe after Stockholm, Sweden, and The Hague, Netherlands.
This premium model clearly symbolizes XPeng‘s design language. With its aerodynamic ducktail and hidden door handles, the P5’s drag coefficient is an ultra-low 0.223 Cd. Powered by its 66kWh battery, the front-wheel drive XPeng P5 can provide up to 465 km of WLTP range on a single charge.
The XPeng P5 also features a large panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade, an advanced surround sound system, noise reduction technology, and the “Xfreebreath” air purification system. The model offers infotainment and access to essential information via Xmart OS on its 15.6″ central control screen and 12.3″ digital dashboard. A number of functions are available in the app library, including Spotify, DAB radio, smart navigation, and extra camera apps.
In terms of driving assistance, the P5 model uses the company’s Advanced Driver Assistance System, XPILOT 2.5, and in-car operating system, Xmart OS, to deliver a host of intelligent features on the go. XPILOT 2.5 uses five high-definition millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic wave sensors, four driving cameras, and nine high-perception cameras to support XPILOT Driving, XPILOT Parking, and XPILOT Safety features.
