Xpeng Launches AI-Driven P7+ in China Starting at $26,100
On November 7, Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng Motors officially launched the Xpeng P7+ in China, its first AI-driven vehicle. Available in three variants, the P7+ has a Long Range Max priced at ¥186,800 (approx. $26,100), an Ultra-Long Range Max at ¥198,800 ($27,800), and a Limited Edition Max at ¥218,800 ($30,600).
The new P7+ adopts a coupe-style design with an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.206. The rear section incorporates sharper lines, creating a distinct three-dimensional effect. The vehicle measures 5056 mm in length, 1937 mm in width, and 1512 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. Its design also features a forward-shifted A-pillar and a backward-positioned C-pillar.
Inside, the P7+ is equipped with three screens (instrument panel, central control screen, and rear-seat entertainment screen), and features a panoramic sunroof. A small table is installed behind the front passenger seat for added convenience. For seating, the entire P7+ lineup includes dual ventilation, dual heating, and six massage settings. The rear seats also offer 10° electric step-less adjustment, ranging from 27°to 37°.

Xpeng‘s CEO He Xiaopeng stated at the press conference that the P7+ showcases Xpeng‘s latest intelligent driving architecture, offering both a high baseline and significant upward potential, representing China’s leading technological strength in intelligent driving.
The Xpeng P7+ debuts the AI Hawkeye Vision Solution, which incorporates two 8-megapixel cameras and HDR technology, enabling it to recognize text, color, and movement, allowing high-speed and urban intelligent assisted driving without relying on high-precision maps or LiDAR.
He Xiaopeng also introduced the P7+ as the first vehicle capable of ongoing OTA updates for both range and energy efficiency, achieving true “full-vehicle OTA” functionality. In just over three months since its regulatory filing, the P7+ has undergone extensive road testing and technical updates, enabling an OTA-upgraded range of 615 km and 725 km.
