Growing up in Sichuan province, China, Yupu moved to Beijing in 2016 and is currently pursuing his bachelor degree in Broadcasting and television at Communication University of China. Prior to join Pandaily, he worked in Reuters’ Beijing Bureau as a full-time political and general news intern, assisting in researching, reporting and long-term project investigating of China’s domestic and international affairs like the LGBT+ communities and Sino-US trade war . You can always find Yupu in the clubs of Gongti on the weekend or spot him sinking into the sofa, watching documentaries.
