Geely’s Xingyue-L Hybrid Version to Launch Soon, With Maximum Range of 1,300 km and Raytheon Zhiqing Hi·X Engine
On Thursday, Chinese carmaker Geely Auto Group announced that the hybrid version of the Geely Xingyue-L will open for pre-sale on December 25, although the specific price has not been announced yet. The car was first released at the Guangzhou Auto Show on November 19.
In terms of appearance, the length, width and height of the new car are 4770/1898/1689mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2845mm. Its shape is basically the same as that of the original Xingyue-L, but it adopts a brand-new front grille style, and changes the straight waterfall grille of the fuel version into a horizontal dot matrix decorative strip structure with a the all-silver Geely logo decoration.
In terms of power, the Xingyue-L Raytheon Hi•X oil-electric hybrid version is equipped with the “Raytheon Zhiqing Hi•X” modular intelligent hybrid platform. Geely said that the new car is equipped with DHE15 hybrid special engine, which possesses thermal efficiency of 43.32%, coverage rate of high-efficiency area close to 50%, maximum power of 110kW and a maximum torque of 225 N/m.
The excellent comprehensive performance of the new hybrid benefits from the blessing of DHT Pro, a 3-speed hybrid electric drive transmission, and the intelligent power distribution system.

Specifically, when the speed is below 20km/h, the vehicle can be completely driven by pure electricity, avoiding the engine working inefficiently and effectively reducing fuel consumption.
When the speed reaches to 20-70km/h, the three-gear hybrid electric drive transmission DHT Pro can realize parallel connection in full speed domain, drive electricity and oil, and balance the two requirements of dynamic performance and intelligent fuel saving.
Finally, when speed is over 80km/h and the driver wants to overtake quickly, he or she should stamp off the throttle quickly. In this way, DHT Pro’s unique three-gear speed change and its torque increase ability can generate a maximum torque of 4920 N/m during rapid acceleration.
Besides, the Xingyue-L Raytheon Hi-X oil-electric hybrid version’s zero-to-hundred speed acceleration time is 7.9 seconds with a maximum cruising range of 1300 kilometers, and an average fuel consumption of 4.3 liters per 100 kilometers.
