Huawei Releases Six Storage Products, 1YB of Data to Be Added Every Year by 2030

Chinese telecommunications and electronics giant Huawei released six new data storage products on Wednesday, which will help customers build safer, more reliable and more efficient databases.

Zhou Yuefeng, president of Huawei’s data storage and machine vision product line, said: “By 2030, the annual new data volume in the world will exceed 1YB. Where there is data, storage should be used. Where there is storage, professional storage should be used.”

Huawei believes that professional storage devices carry data assets of thousands of industries, and must meet the demands of safety, fluency and speed.

The OceanStor Dorado All-Flash Storage System supports comprehensive Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network-Attached Storage (NAS) features, delivering high-quality data services for databases and file systems. The operating system also provides diverse Quality-of-Service (QoS) strategies to ensure high performance for mission-critical applications and excellent user experiences.
