JD.com to Recruit 20,000 College Grads in 2022
Leading Chinese e-commerce company JD.com announced Monday that it will seek to recruit more than 20,000 college graduates across the country in 2022. Among them, JD Logistics will take in over 10,000 graduates to reserve and train as first-line management talent. In the past three years, JD.com has opened a total of 358 posts, providing nearly 40,000 individual employment opportunities, and the trend is increasing year by year.
Among JD.com‘s campus recruitment posts, it is reported that technical positions such as software development engineers, test development engineers, industry solution and architecture engineers account for more than half. Among these, cutting-edge technical posts such as multimodal identification, distributed computing and quantum computing are now open to fresh graduates for the first time.
JD.com revealed that while continuously increasing the scale of its campus recruitment efforts, it also continues to increase incentives for talent through salary increase measures. JD.com announced in mid-2021 that it would gradually increase the average annual salary of its employees from 14 months to 16 months.
In addition, it has also launched a series of welfare initiatives including housing and “employee relief.” Recently, JD Logistics also announced that it would invest nearly 400 million yuan ($63.05 million) this year to increase welfare subsidies for employees who are on the front line during the Spring Festival.
