NETA V Right Rudder Edition Released in Thailand

On August 24, Chinese firm NETA Auto held a launch event for its NETA V Right Rudder Edition car model in Thailand. This marks the official entry of NETA Auto into the Thai market.

Zhang Yong, the co-founder and CEO of NETA Auto, said: “NETA Auto has developed a global layout and accelerated the development in markets such as ASEAN, and EU. The NETA V right rudder version in Thailand marks our new step in the journey towards globalization.”

The right rudder version of NETA released in Thailand is based on the firm’s NETA V series, after adjustment and innovations tailored to suit local needs in overseas markets. It is estimated that by the end of this year, 3,000 units of the NETA V right rudder edition will be delivered in Thailand.

The length, width and height of the NETA V right rudder version are 4070mm, 1690mm, 1540mm, and the wheelbase is 2420mm. It adopts a dolphin streamline design and low wind resistance shape. The interior has no buttons, a touchscreen, and a 14.6-inch intelligent center screen. This allows the car model to have a full sense of technology in the cockpit.

In terms of power endurance, the NETA V right rudder version comes with a 70kW high-power motor. The maximum torque is 150 N • m and the acceleration time is 0-50km/h in only 3.9 seconds. The NEDC is as long as 384 km, which meets the daily commuting needs of most users. In terms of body color, it offers five choices: white, gray, cyan, blue and pink.

In November 2021, NETA Auto signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the PTT Public Company Limited. Now, NETA Auto works with the company in the Thai new energy vehicle market, preparing to entering the ASEAN market.

In terms of channels, the Thai subsidiary of NETA Auto has 25 authorized dealers in Thailand, covering Bangkok, nearby provinces and major urban areas in Thailand. It is estimated that by the end of this year, the number of authorized dealers of NETA Auto will reach 30.

In the Chinese market, as of the end of July, the cumulative sales volume of the NETA V series exceeded 100,000 units. It took only 21 months to reach this sales amount, making the NETA V the new energy vehicle model to break through 100,000 unit sales at the earliest date. From January to July, 2022, NETA Auto delivered 77,168 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 185%.
