OnePlus 6 Receives a High Score of 96 in the DxOMark Mobile Test
OnePlus 6, the new OnePlus flagship phone received from DxOMark on July 17 a score of 96.

The DxOMark Mobile, an image quality rating site for all cameras and lenseswhich started its tests in 2012. Giving out an overall score based on photo and video evaluation results for each mobile phone, DxOMark tests the six categories of exposure & contrast, color, autofocus, texture, noise, and artifacts.
It also runs test specifically on flash, zoom and bokeh for photo, and stabilization for video.
OnePlus 6’s over all score of 96 was the result of its photo score of 100 and video score of 87. It earned a high score in the photo department for its fast auto focus and accurate exposure, among other merits, while its video capabilities still need working on in the texture categories and in the details lost under various lighting conditions.
The OnePlus 6 is ranked at the 10th place by DxOMark Mobile, falling behind the iPhone X, Google Pixel 2, Samsung Galaxy S9P, and other Chinese smartphones such as Huawei P20 Pro who seizes the top spot with a score of 109. It ranks higher, however, than the iPhone 8 and its Plus version, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Asus ZenFone 5.
The new flagship which spots a 6.28-inch screen and an iPhone X-like notch was unveiled in May. It has dual rear cameras of 16MP and 20MP with optical image stabilizer and advanced HDR, as well as a 16MP front-facing camera with “Portrait Mode”. The phone is also capable of shooting 4K videos
The device was sold over one million times within 22 days after its release. Recently, OnePlus also announced a special red edition, OnePlus 6 Red, to be added to the existing color choices of Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Silk White.
