Chinese smartphone maker OPPO unveiled the second generation Reno series flagship in Shanghai today. The handset made its global debut on August 28 in India first with three variants, the Reno 2, 2F and 2Z.
Qualcomm and Tencent Games announced on July 29 that they will cooperate on projects that could include optimizing the Chinese tech giant’s video games for devices with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Elite gaming chips, and creating a 5G version of a Tencent-backed gaming phone.
The ASUS ROG Phone 2 is launching on July 23, and ASUS just confirmed it will be the first smartphone to be powered by the game-centric Snapdragon 855 Plus.
Looks like OnePlus fans will be getting a treat sooner than expected as OnePlus has announced in a press release that it will be showcasing its first 5G prototype smartphone at MWC 2019 (Mobile World Congress).
