ASUS ROG Celebrates First Anniversary of eSports Team RW
ROG’s annual celebration event “ROG Day” kicked off on Dec. 15 in Shanghai, bringing fans, professional gamers, and famous esports anchors from across the world, and the brand’s own esports team — Rogue Warriors (RW) together.
This year, ROG also celebrated the birth of its esports team RW, which was established on the same day last year. The young esports team showed up in full attendance with members from its various divisions of League of Legends, King of Glory, Arena of Valor, PUBG, and Warcraft.
As a relatively new esports team in the industry, RW doesn’t really have much to showcase from its portfolio yet. Its best achievements include emerging first during the West Region of the LPL 2018 Summer Tournament and Rift Rivals 2018 Tournament.
This year marks the fourth running year for the multinational computer company’s “ROG Day” event. The event is a large fan convention for esports enthusiasts to get in close contact with professional gamers and teams.
Founded in 2006, ROG has been manufacturing gaming-related hardware for gamers from all over the world. The brand makes a variety of computer peripherals and accessories including motherboards, graphics cards, notebooks, desktops, gaming smartphones, monitors and much more.
