Honor X30 Released, 66W Fast Charging, Starting from $235
Today, Honor launched its newest handset, the Honor X30. The new phone focuses on fast charging and long battery life and starts at 1499 yuan ($235).
Honor said at the press conference that its Honor 3X, a smartphone launched eight years ago, still enjoys over 40,000 users now. According to retail sales figures, the period between changing from an Honor old phone to a new one is about 29.1 months.
The Honor X30 features 66W charging capability which should be able to bring the phone’s 4,800mAh battery from 0 to 80% in 30 minutes. In addition, to ensure fast charging safety, each Honor X30 battery is equipped with a unique anti-counterfeiting security chip, which enables triple identification among charger, charging cable and battery.
The X30 is equipped with Qualcomm’s 6nm Snapdragon 695. With the composite ultra-thin screen, lightweight battery cover and a high-energy ultra-thin battery, the thickness and weight of the smartphone have been reduced, while the battery capacity has increased to 4800mAh.
The Honor X30 is equipped with a 6.81-inch screen, with its frame narrowing down to 1.05 mm and supporting 120Hz high fresh rate.
In terms of image, users get a 48MP main camera alongside a 2MP macro cam and a 2MP depth-assist sensor. The device will cost 1,499 yuan for its baseline 6/128GB configuration and will go up to 2,299 yuan for the 12/256GB model.

In addition, Honor released its Honor Play 30 Plus, which is equipped with 22.5W fast charging, 5000mAh battery, 6.74-inch screen and 128GB storage. It is available in four colors: black, silver, gold and blue, and the price starts from 1099 yuan.
