Realme to Launch Limited-Edition Product in Collaboration With Dragon Ball Z
Chinese smartphone brand realme will release its GT2 series on January 4 next year. In the poster launched on Thursday, the firm revealed that it will launch a limited-edition product in collaboration with Dragon Ball Z.
Dragon Ball Z is a massively popular anime series that first aired back in 1989 and ran until 2003. It tells the story of Kakarot and other characters looking for “dragon balls” and becoming stronger, and was once very popular among young people. The Chinese smartphone maker didn’t reveal any finer details regarding this device or showcase its design.
In fact, Chinese smartphone brands have in recent years often launched devices in collaboration with games and animation brands, such as the Palace Museum, League of Legends, Gundam, EVA, Ultraman Tiga and so on.
Realme held an online event on December 20, officially announcing some key features of its first high-end flagship machine: the realme GT2 Pro, including bio-based material, a 150° super wide-angle lens and ultra-wideband free switching antenna technology. The model will also be equipped with Snapdragon’s latest 8 Gen1 mobile platform.
