DeepRoute.ai Reaches Agreement with Zvision Technologies

On Monday, DeepRoute.ai reached a strategic cooperation with Zvision Technologies, a manufacturer of solid-state MEMS lidars. The deal will see both parties jointly launch a lower-cost and mass-produced L4 automated driving solution.

Regarding this deal, Zhou Guang, CEO of DeepRoute.ai, said: “Autonomous driving is becoming a key field in the global scientific and technological revolution landscape. As an L4 self-driving enterprise, we launched the world’s first front-loading mass production scheme with a cost less than US$10,000, breaking the cost barrier of self-driving mass production. Our cooperation with Zvision Technologies, the leading manufacturer of solid-state MEMS lidar in China, will integrate the resource advantages of both parties, accelerate technological innovation and push L4 automated driving into the fast lane of mass production, all of which will urban transportation develop better and faster. “

DeepRoute.ai has cooperated closely with Zvision Technologies, which was established in November 2017. In December 2021, DeepRoute-Driver 2.0, DeepRoute.ai’s low-cost L4 automatic driving scheme, adopted three solid-state MEMS lidars (ML-30s) made by Zvision Technologies.

Zvision Technologies’ ML-30s short-range lidar is a large-angle MEMS lidar for body-blind compensation and medium- and low-speed automated driving situations. Its 140-degree x 70-degree ultra-wide field of view enables a full view of the vehicle’s surroundings.

DeepRoute-Driver 2.0 also adopted RoboSense’s second generation intelligent solid-state lidar RS-LiDAR-M1 and eight HDR cameras. At the beginning of this month, DeepRoute.ai also reached an agreement with RoboSense.
