Digital Operations Firm XinLueX Completes Series A Financing

On Wednesday, Chinese tech startup XinLueX announced its completion of Series A financing. Investors in this round were Sequoia China, GL Ventures and Vision Plus Capital, and the exclusive financial advisor was Yuanhe Capital. The funding is mainly to be allocated for talent introduction, product innovation and market expansion.

Previously, XinLueX received investment from DJ Capital in an angel round, and from Chuxin Capital in a pre-A round. The company has secured more than 100 million yuan ($15.8 million) in the three rounds of financing.

XinLueX is a provider of consumer digital operation solutions. Ever since its establishment in June 2020, it has empowered brands to build marketing data platforms (MDPs) and provide digital operation strategy solutions for consumers across the whole domain.

“We hold that in the future, every brand will require a full-domain marketing data system and the ability to operate a full domain of consumers and use data to make decisions on business growth strategies,” said Zhou Fanglei, Founder and CEO of XinLueX.

XinLueX provides “Strategy Magic,” a groundbreaking full-domain MDP product, which integrates data from multiple platforms (advertising platform, e-commerce trading platform, brand side system, etc.), and accumulates and manages marketing and consumer data assets. It helps brands establish a closed loop of digital operations ranging from strategy, marketing to users through a “SaaS product + consulting service” model, coupled with scenario-based data analysis and insight services.

The founding team have backgrounds at Alibaba, Kantar Consulting, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle, and other similar firms, and many bring professional experience in digital marketing of consumer products and enterprise data platforms for more than 10 years.

XinLueX focuses on the consumer goods industry and has served nearly 100 paid customers, which fall into two main categories. First, mature group brands, such as such as LA MER, Unilever, Nestle, Starbucks, Anta, Dior, fresh, Pechoin and more. Secondly, the firm serves new leading Chinese products brands, such as moody (top brand of color contact lenses in China), Ubras (pioneer of underwear without sizes), Make Sense (cutting-edge brand of men’s personal care) and so on.
