Yesterday, DJI officially released the new Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 (P4P V2.0). The price is consistent with the previous Phantom 4 Pro starting at $1,499. The P4P V2.0 weighs 1,375g, 13 grams lighter than the previous generation of Phantom 4 Pro, but in the exact same size measuring 350mm diagonally. It has a 1-inch 20MP CMOS image sensor with a mechanical shutter and close to 12 stops of dynamic range. The P4P V2.0 delivers better imaging quality than other products at the same price range, especially under low light conditions.
It uses the new OcuSync HD video transmission system, supports dual-frequency band switching, and connects to DJI Goggles wirelessly. It also comes with two versions of the remote controller: the regular model comes with a no-screen controller at $1,499, while the Phantom 4 Pro+ V2.0 comes with a built-in 1080p ultra-bright screen on the controller, costing $1,799.
The new Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 also introduced the new aerodynamic 9455S propellers system and new FOC ESC drivers to improve noise control. It can reduce aircraft noise by up to 4dB for quieter flights. The battery capacity is the same 5870mAh configuration as the previous generation.
