EHang Announces Collaboration With Spanish National Police

Recently, EHang, an autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV) technology platform company, announced its cooperation with the Spanish National Police to jointly explore potential use cases for AAVs in emergency and security missions.

Previously, at the World ATM Conference, EHang‘s 216 passenger-grade AAV made its first public appearance in Spain and was exhibited at the Cuatro Vientos Airport in Madrid.

EHang plans to work closely with the Spanish National Police to use the AAVs in rescuing, patrolling and other emergency situations.

“We believe that autonomous aerial vehicle technology can help us perform emergency and safety missions, such as firefighting, access to areas contaminated by nuclear radiation, bacteria or chemical risks, landing in confined areas, transporting materials and other police services that may require flexibility and mobility,” the Spanish National Police said.

EHang is a manufacturer and operator of autonomous aerial vehicles, providing various AAV products and commercial solutions for customers in many industries around the world. On December 12, 2019, the company was officially listed on the Nasdaq in the United States under the ticker symbol ‘EH’.
