Honor Magic4 Series Officially Set to Arrive at MWC

Chinese smartphone brand Honor is set to unveil its upcoming Magic4 series at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, which will begin at 8:00 pm Beijing time on February 28.

Meanwhile, Qualcomm announced recently that the new Honor Magic series will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

Earlier, tipsters showed that a new Honor device with code name “LGE-AN00” supporting 66W fast charging – assumed to be the Magic4 series – has passed China Compulsory Certification. The series may come in three versions: the Magic4, Magic4 Pro and Magic4 Pro+.

At present, the Honor Magic series has included Magic3, Magic3 Pro, Magic Pro Plus and Magic V. The Magic3 series is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 Plus processor and 89° curved screen, while Magic V is Honor’s first folding screen smartphone, equipped with Qualcomm 8 Gen 1, starting from 9,999 yuan ($1579).

Honor has seen rapid growth lately. According to the latest data from Counterpoint Research Market Monitor, China’s overall smartphone shipments decreased by 11% year-on-year in Q4 2021. Honor has achieved 17% market share, ranking first among domestic Android smartphone manufacturers.
